The last day of Moogfest is finally here. Today is the day many of us have been waiting for; the later evening shows are stacked, and I personally am feeling deep regret for my inability to be in three places at once.
The weather today is the nicest it’s been all weekend, so use this as an opportunity to check out some shows at Animoog. Beats Antique is a great show to pave the way into not-sure-if-you’re-serious Childish Gambino, and then the can’t-miss Passion Pit. Passion Pit overlaps with Special Disco Version, so if you’re looking to check out Umphrey’s McGee at Thomas Wolfe for late night, Special Disco Version—featuring the heroes of LCD Soundsystem—is right next door. Tonight’s shows end a little earlier than we’re used to, but after two nights of absolute freakishness, you probably aren’t complaining.
Today, I do not have much advice for you. Passion Pit, Umphrey’s McGee, Special Disco Version, and EOTO are all on my can’t-miss list, so all I can suggest is to go with your gut, stay warm, and have a great time.
