The last day of Moogfest is finally here. Today is the day many of us have been waiting for; the later evening shows are stacked, and I personally am feeling deep regret for my inability to be in three places at once.

It’s hard to believe that we’re already a full day deep into Moogfest. With the incredible displays of talent from last night (see: Moby, Holy Fuck, Mayer Hawthorne) behind us, it’s time to start again. The freaks are going to be out today in full force; expect costumes, glitter, wigs, and probably some men on stilts.

It’s Friday morning in Asheville and the city is getting ready to kick off Moogfest. The weekend’s shows, both on- and off-schedule, have started with some early morning SoundLab sets at the Moog factory, and even though it’s raining, the sounds of synths are bright and cheery indoors.
