'Community's' Donald Glover or Glassnote's Childish Gambino? TV Actor or Hip Hop Star? Watch Him Perform at Moogfest and Make the Call

Childish Gambino performs his track "Do Ya Like" off his 2010 album Culdesac. Unfortunately (yet obviously expected), sampled artist Adele did not join Mr. Gambino (aka Donald Glover) on stage for this live rendition. However, she was there in spirit and the crowd helped sing along.

Baltimore cult icon gets the Moogfest crowd rowdy on the second day of the festival

Dan Deacon performances are about as difficult to explain as his music. Strange? No doubt. Chaotic? Without question. Unique? You betcha. I mean, how many electronic shows do you attend where the artist performs every song from the floor, crowd surfs, or encourages dance battles?

Watch this incredible Lips' rendition of Ozzy & Company, while Wayne Coyne sings from inside his now legendary crowd-surfing ball

The Flaming Lips are known for their outrageous live shows and their performance at Moogfest 2011 did not disappoint. If you asked a dozen random fans from the crowd that night about the most memorable moment, you would probably hear 12 very different responses. Some of the highlights included Wayne Coyne's gigantic hands that momentarily "captured" the on-stage lasers (so he could fire them into the crowd), countless over-sized balloons launching into the crowd, and an unforgettable speech about the magic of Moogfest.

Watch the theremin virtuoso perform a song during a Moogaplex panel

Dorit Chrysler is one of the few names that should follow any mention of the theremin. She is founder of the New York Theremin Society; frequently performs with mainstream artists such as Dinosaur Jr., Marilyn Manson, the Strokes, and Amon Tobin; and, quite simply, she is a master of the instrument. She gave a demo for the audience during the Moogaplex panel discussion, "Journey to the Center of the Theremin."
